Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of SCROLLmySTORY’s mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

The Service is for adults age 18 and older. You must provide accurate account information, keep your password secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity on your account to the extent caused by your use or failure to protect your credentials.

Permission to use the Service

Subject to these Terms, SCROLLmySTORY gives you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive permission to use the Service for its intended community purpose. The Service, including its design, software, name, logos, and other materials we provide, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service or permission to copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit it except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create and submit. By submitting content through the Service, you give SCROLLmySTORY a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, distribute, and make the content available as needed to operate, promote within the Service, protect, and improve the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted from the Service, except to the extent limited retention is reasonably necessary for safety, legal, audit, backup, or technical-cleanup purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to post your content. Do not post content that violates another person’s rights, privacy, or intellectual property rights.

Content and conduct you must not post or use

You may not use the Service to:

• Threaten, harass, bully, intimidate, stalk, exploit, impersonate, or deceive another person.
• Post unlawful, sexually exploitative, hateful, violent, fraudulent, spam, or privacy-invasive material.
• Collect another person’s private information, attempt to access another account, interfere with the Service, or evade a restriction or moderation action.
• Infringe another person’s intellectual-property rights or post content when you do not have the necessary rights or permission.
• Use automated means to access, scrape, or disrupt the Service unless we have expressly allowed it.

Community standards and moderation

Use the Service respectfully and safely. You may not use it to threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate, scam, post unlawful or sexually exploitative material, encourage harm, evade enforcement, or otherwise violate our Community Guidelines. You may report content and block accounts using the tools in the app.

We may review reports and take reasonable action, including removing content, limiting features, restricting an account, or ending access to the Service. We do not promise continuous monitoring or any particular response time, and the Service is not an emergency service.

Respectful faith-based community

SCROLLmySTORY is a Christian-centered community intended to encourage authentic stories and healthy growth. Respectful questions, testimony, and theological disagreement are welcome; personal attacks, coercive faith harassment, and harmful behavior are not.

Copyright and feedback

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, email support@scrollmystory.com with the subject “Copyright Concern.” Include a description of the work, a link or clear description of the content at issue, and enough information for us to contact you and review the concern. We may take action we consider appropriate after review.

If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you give us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, unless we separately agree otherwise in writing.

Service availability and testing

The Service may change, be unavailable, or contain errors, especially during testing and development. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, or comply with requirements for the Service. We do not guarantee that content, scores, counts, or any feature will always be available or error-free.

Third-party services

The Service may be accessed through a device, app store, network, or service operated by another company. Your use of those third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy practices. SCROLLmySTORY is not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

Account deletion and termination

You may initiate deletion of your account in the app from Profile > Edit Profile > Delete Account. Details are available on our Account Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe that these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law have been violated, or when necessary to protect the Service or its users.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” SCROLLmySTORY does not make warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, SCROLLmySTORY will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Resolving concerns

If you have a concern about the Service, please contact us first at support@scrollmystory.com. We will try to address reasonable concerns directly. These Terms do not limit any rights that cannot be waived or limited under applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms as the Service evolves or when required by law. Updated Terms will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law. Questions may be sent to support@scrollmystory.com.
